Played two sessions of Omaha H/L 0.01$/0.02$ antes, Pot Limit. Things really went my way, especially in the first session (this afternoon), went out with +3x Buy-In πŸ™‚

Things didn’t go all that smooth in the second session and I donked out 1.5x Buy-In, but at least I had fun and got some more UltimatePoints to clear my bonus.

Favourite hands (session 2):
1.
Four Kings – was too slow to make a screenshot, but here’s the hand history:

Showdown:
Ingoal shows 9h 6s Ks Js.
Ingoal has Ks Js Kh Kd Kc: four kings (high).
Ingoal has no qualifying low hand.
Player2 mucks cards.
(Player2 has Ac As Td Qc.)

2. Four Jacks: – a picture says more than thousand words (although I only yell the usual ‘Dem Quads Beetches!’ πŸ˜‰ )

Played some Omaha H/L (or Omaha 8b how they call it at UB). I thought playing the 0.01$/0.02$ Pot Limit tables would be a good idea – and after donking my first buy-in off it really was. After the rebuy I kept hitting some nice nice cards (A-A-A-2, A-A-2-3, etc) and scoop quite some pots as there was no low hand or mine was the nuts. Groovy…especially when you play Pot Limit and it’s obvious that there is no low hand and you hold the nuts flush (in this case As-Ks) – one player not only calling but reraising…hmm…call! He holds Js-Qs πŸ™‚

Nice one…played for over an hour and went out with roughly +2x buyin…nice…and I’m on my way to clear my bonus, too. Ever so slowly, but at least steadily…

Holiday bounty tournament

I really pondered about entering tonight’s holiday bounty tournament over at Ultimate Bet. With a buyin of 10$ + 1$ fee the prices were quite nice: apart from the normal prices UB offered bounties for busting out their pros:

  • Phil Hellmuth
  • Annie Duke
  • Antonio ΓƒΒ’Γ’β€šΒ¬Γ…β€œThe MagicianΓƒΒ’Γ’β€šΒ¬? Esfandiari
  • John Vorhaus
  • Jack McClelland
  • Roxci Rhodes
  • Freddy Deeb

Price for busting one of them out of the tournament:

  • $250
  • UB Branded Poker Table
  • UB Chip and Card Set
  • 10 UB T-Shirts
  • 10 UB hats

Nice, but I thought that with more than 2000 players the chances of even being at a table with one of them in the first place was slim to none. So I didn’t enter, but I watched Phil Hellmuth’s table…first of all he showed up late (like always?!), then he played some hands and busted out pretty quickly (A-9 vs. 4-4)…the best was not to see him play, but to see all the creeps crowding the chat and insulting the hell out of him…unbelievable…

Woohoo! Finally a win again!

Play a little S&G (1$ + 0.10, 6 players, top two pay) and looked up some bluffs early on to catch the chip-lead, tightened up – maybe even a bit too much, but was able to come back in 3 handed play to knock out the 3rd remaining player…in the money and with a 2:1 chip lead. Folded the first few hands as my opponent kept raising preflop all the time. This time I not only called but went over top All-In and he called…this time the coin flipped my way πŸ™‚

A-Ko vs 5-5, 10-J-6-Q-J

Straight wins!

Ingoal wins the amount of $4.20, not much…but finally a win again to build up my confidence and my account – the first time I’m up again at any poker room…

Argh! Played a little S&G (1+0.10) and went out in 4th (of 6)…looked down at A-A and raised to All-In preflop…K-Q called and once again I lost to a draw…board: 8-9-K-J-10… πŸ™

Played two freerolls again…couldn’t catch anything in the first one and finished in 1128th (of 1676), held my own in the second one, although it’s not a good idea to play if you’re under time pressure – I had to bust out to catch an appointment although I was running not all that bad (around 6k in chips when 4.xk was the current average πŸ™ )…finished in 1067th (of 2500)…

Not in the mood for much Poker today, so I just played 3 little freerolls early this morning (04:15am/05:15am/06:15am ET) and I was truely amazed at how many people from the US are playing at such early hours (1334/1502/1438)…couldn’t get much going for me either and finished nowhere near the prizes (807th/307th/839th)…

*lol*

This might have been the quickest tournament ever! I played a Freeroll for 500B$ over at UltimateBet and looked down at A-A in the second hand. I limped in and the flop was: 8-9-2, everyone checks, I move All-In…one caller…holding 8-8. Turn and River were blank so I’m out in 2336th (of 2500). Way to go πŸ™

Played to TEC Freerolls today (9:15am ET & 01:15pm ET). Didn’t really stand a chance and finished in 671th of 2308 (when my A-Q didn’t improve on the board while running into A-A) and 2168th of 2500 (when my A-J didn’t improve on the board while running into, yet another, A-A) πŸ™

Played some low stakes Hold’em, but couldn’t get anywhere either during the course of play (25minutes, +/- 0.00$). I guess I’ll head over to Pstars for a S&G later tonight…

I signed up for an account over at UltimateBet tonight and decided to give it a whirl right away…I entered a 1000$ guaranteed tournament with a 1$ buy-in (no fee, nice!). Turbo style, blinds increase every 2 minutes, 1152players entered, 110 places payed.

I finished in 173 place as I was desperately short stacked – I guess I should play some normal speed tournaments…
