I am an idiot with 0 tilt-control
That’s all folks…
(After today’s nice run, I started a second session in which used to be my specialty – HU nl hold’em sngs…and I failed miserably…after taking some nasty beats early on, I totally lost it and donked off all my profits and then some….pretty sick…yuck…I’m so disgusted and disappointed in myself just now…wow…busto once more…sick sick sick…the only thing that is “positive” this time around is that I had cashed out my initial redeposit + a small profit…but it still hurts to lose all the extra profit I made in one fugly session…ouch…oh well, nothing I can do now but moan, logoff and be mad at myself for a while…I’m outta here…peace…)
Comeback
Nice to finally experience something like a heater again. Despite losing one or two huge pot with KK against the likes of Ace wheeee ten…I managed to grind out a nice profit today. Running good surely helps, and tbh I was really surprised that all the really big hands held up.
Exhibit A:
Pre: QQ, MP 1 seat before me raises to 3BB, I reraise it to 7BB, CO calls, original raiser reraise to 20BB, I flat, CO calls as well. (Pot 61BB)
Flop: 3c Jd Qc – Yatzee!
MP checks, I bet out 30BB, CO folds, MP reraises all-in, I insta-call (Pot 212BB) – MP shows AA – tough luck
Turn: K
River: 7
Cha-ching! (My All-In Equity 89.8)
Exhibit B:
Pre: AA, UTG minraises, I minraise UTG+2, Button flats, UTG flats (Pot 13BB)
Flop: 5s Jd 6h
UTG checks, I bet out 9BB, Button minraises, I think set or overpair oh well if you’ve got a set you got me – shove, instacall – Button shows: QQ (Pot 165BB)
Turn: Th
River: 6d
Cha-ching! (My All-In Equity: 91.62)
Had another three bigger pots, equity 98.38, 88.79 and 100 and amazingly all three held up. Noice!
That’s the way I like it and I can logoff with a smile…
Happy new year…
…the first post of 2013 and it’s already late in february. Sick sick sick. I’ve had a lot of stress lately, but still managed to play every now and then. I could add a monster pic dump…but today I just felt like coming back with a good ole whine post.
Today was so brutal and sick, that I really have to write something about it. When you play fast fold poker, you get to see a lot of hands….and if you run bad, that happens in quicker succession as well. Good if you’re on rush, that happens quicker also, but I’ve been missing the good part. Today was all about getting stacked by donks. I mean honestly. If you get 3bet pre, reraise on the flop, get bet huge on the turn and really call all-in with a naked draw, is that a good play? Of course not. Will you hit your draw? Most certainly…with a monster like J5 s00000ted runner runnering me (turn + river)…so sick.
Or the other fools who just love to give me their money but get busted out by the fucking dealer. Really? You 4bet shoved nines pre? Nice play sir…2 outer boom. Rebuy…Really? You shove on the flop with all overs after getting 3bet pre with 77, well done sir, I have queens…oh there’s the seven…rebuy…Hello sir, thank you for calling my 3bet pre and reraise on the flop with deuces…do I have to mention that that’s all overcards on the flop? Oh, there’s a deuce on the turn…my kings seem to be out of luck here….rebuy…
And it just went on and on…puke, vomit, hurl…I’m outta here, to wash the pukey feeling out of my mouth…cya peeps…
I just can’t help myself
I should really figure out if I want to be serious again about poker or not. The way I’ve been playing (making a micro-deposit that always has me against the wall) just doesn’t work, especially as I’m far from being tilt-proof.
Anyway, lost some really fugly hands…runner runner goodness…all-in on the flop…
Get runner runnered after 3betting pre and betting the flop and turn big…the only thing I could have done was to save the river-bet (5.75$) as I knew I was beat…fittingly I typed “love getting runner runnered with top set” into the chat box and called anyway….idiot…
Love getting the usual domination bs as well…
So I’m busto once more, disgusted and out of here…so sick…
Tilting events and PT4
After playing my second session today, I’m thoroughly tilted. Ran KK into AA getting slowrolled in the process…how nice of my opponent…
So I thought I’d better log off before I tilt-spew some more and while browsing and reading some email I found that PT4 has been release and that they were offering a 70% discount for PT3 owners…as owner of the “Small Stakes Edition” the upgrade was only 18$ that way…so I’m currently migrating the whole PT3 database to PT4 (which is done with the comfy setup assistant upon the first start of PT4)…that’ll run a while, I’ll report back once I’ve had the chance to use it a while…
My hand of the day…
The following hand really saved my session today. I was in a bit of a funk, but started to pickup some chips and then I finally doubled up. Nice, a cooler either way, but it’s nice to be on the good side of one for a change
Overall still running under expectation, but oh well, I’ll take it for now…

…and he’s back again
After quite a long absence, I’ve decided to get back in the game for a little fun. Nothing much to report so far, played 666 hands of Zoom tonight and some small sngs…ended the night up…all good…looking forward to getting back in the game…
Tilt spew
Today was one of those days. The last few days I’ve been playing a little and I was careful to “stick to the game plan” and it worked, doubling my roll.
Today, it was a whole different story. I took some nasty beats and after the first few I really started to tilt. The cardinal error here, was that I couldn’t and didn’t stop playing immediately. Instead of that, I sat there and tilted off some more…and when the final bad beat came (AA vs QQ allin preflop…of course river queen), I just couldn’t take it any longer and tilted of the rest of my roll.
So once more, I’m busto…and feel sick sick sick sick sick about it. I just don’t get it, beats are part of the game, but sometimes it’s just too much to take. Oh well…I’m outta here to cool off a little, it’s a bank holiday today and beautiful weather..I guess I should have stayed outside instead of playing this stupid game…but too late for that..enjoy the pic dump – I’ll spare you all the runner runner goodness and stuff..instead of that I’ll just post the last beat and the graph for today…I should have stopped at hand 300…lol…cya…
So and so…
Didn’t have much time to play recently, still got a few hundred hands of rush errm zoom in over the last few weeks. Mixed results, so and so, still enjoying it, but I really need to stay focused and not get carried away by the small stakes (.02/.05) and the quick pace…it’s quite easy to get carried away with the high pace and the really small stakes and the biggest pitfall is playing big pairs over-aggressively. Just after you’ve shoved 5$ on an all under flop, you realized – wait a minute, that’s 100BB *lol*…so I tend to not do that and instead I try to wait for my opponent(s) to do just that…
Enjoy the pic dump of roughly the last 4 weeks (didn’t take all that many screengrabs, just too busy multi-tabling the zoom tables), I’m out of here…
Random pic dump
Time to play some poker has been sparse the last couple of days, been bouncing up and done and round and round…nothing particular standing out, so I’ll just leave with another classic pic dump starting February 2nd and ending today…
